EC-Council Certified Incident Handler (ECIH)
The EC-Council Certified Incident Handler – ECIH program is designed to
provide trainees with the fundamental skills necessary to
handle and respond to cybersecurity incidents in an information
system. The course covers various underlying principles and techniques to
detect and respond to current and emerging security threats. Trainees will learn how to act in response to different types of incidents, risk assessment methodologies, and various laws and regulations related to incident handling. At the end of this course, they will be able to create incident management and response policies and will be competent to handle different types of cybersecurity incidents such as network security incidents, malware incidents, and internal attack threats. Additionally, trainees will learn more about computer forensics and its role in incident management and response. This course also covers incident response teams, incident reporting methods, and business continuity techniques in detail.
